Nathan Carpio was born on September 5, 2005 and was laid to rest on September 5, 2019. He was 14 years old.

His sister chose to answer that loss with love. She created the Nathan Carpio Foundation so that his name would keep showing up in people's lives as kindness - a gift at the door, a warm meal, a hand when it's needed, a reason to smile.
